In 1990, cessi : ergonomics was a founding member of the "Ergonomic Alliance", which was a group of dedicated ergonomic authorities and manufacturers whose mission was to introduce the best ergonomic consultants and products to the business world.

Computer & Electronic Safety Solutions, Inc. (CESSI) was incorporated on January 14, 1991 in the State of Georgia, with the sole purpose of delivering "Applied Ergonomics" to clients who were seeking to resolve employee human factor problems in their work environments.  Since then, our devotion to obtaining and sustaining successful results for our clients has allowed us to build our reputation as one of the ergonomics industry's leading companies.  Our locations include Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN and Washington, DC.

Education and Training Programs

Ergonomic training is crucial to the success of any ergonomic process.  Our educational team designs programs that are relevant to the work being performed and the capacity of the worker to modify personal work habits.  Having a basic understanding of ergonomic principles, proper workplace equipment placement and adjustment, establishes guidelines for people to follow so they can increase comfort and reduce fatigue during the work day.

Commercial Ergonomic Products

Early in our history, clients would frequently ask our ergonomic consultants for manufacturing sources to acquire " ergonomic products" which were recommended in our workstation and biomechanical assessment reports. Our clients found that the market for "ergonomic" products was cluttered and confusing with thousands of manufacturing companies claiming to have the ultimate product to solve their ergonomic problems.

cessi : ergonomics formed an "ergonomic equipment division" to find qualified suppliers with products from around the world which demonstrated that they resolved problems and sustained improvements.  This task was larger than we originally imagined. Our mission led us into a worldwide search for reliable vendors and manufacturers of ergonomically designed, researched and medically documented products.

Although cessi : ergonomics Consulting operates independently within the corporation, we have the capabilities to draw on the in-depth knowledge, experiences, and resources of our sister division, the Commercial Products Team to resolve workplace equipment challenges.
